Worship at MiddleCross Church

Welcome to MiddleCross Church! We are so excited that you would take the time to look at our web site and find out more about who we are. This section of our site focuses on worship. At MiddleCross Church we believe that worship is more than music. Worship is a daily choosing to live a surrendered life to Christ for the glory of God.

On Sunday mornings we worship our Lord through exciting praise and worship choruses led by the MiddleCross Praise Band. Through scripture readings, prayer, testimonies, and a message from God's word, we spend time learning and growing in the Lord.

Worship Scriptures

Here are few scriptures that can help guide us through our understanding of worship.

1. Therefore, I urge you brothers, to offer up your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship. (Romans 12:1)

2. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH (John 4:24)

3. To give THANKS and EXTOL the Lord with music and song (Psalm 95:2)

4. Sing to Him a NEW song (Psalm 33:3)

5. To be TRAINED and SKILLED in music for the Lord (1 Chronicles 25:7)

6. I Will Praise You, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you AMONG THE PEOPLES. (Psalm 108:3)
